Speakers Bureau

 

The San Antonio conservation and environmental community has started a speakers bureau to serve as a central clearing house for programs on conservation/environment-related topics.

 

Available topics include:

 

— Water conservation and aquifer protection

— Energy conservation and alternative energy

Forest, vegetation and tree-growing (to include legal issues and impact on the environment including air and water quality)

— Green building

— Sustainable living

— Why wildlife is critical to human welfare

— Impact of land development on the environment

— Geographic Information Systems and their use in environmental protection

— Working with local and state government to benefit the environment
