Classrooms Technical Assistance.
Description............A native habitat is created on school grounds, sometimes
with facilities such as amphitheaters, weather or water-
monitoring stations, gardens, trails, observation stations,
compost piles, nest boxes, bird baths/feeders, etc. Habitat
is used for nature study and for the use of nature to teach
science, math, other subjects.

varies.

requires institutional support and
involvement by participating schools. It is not training for
