Description…......A guide to state-agency environmental-education programs

                           and resources. Includes numerous state agencies plus

                           several academic and city departments. Services offered

                           range from printed info (teaching guidelines, classroom

                           materials, consumer/homeowner/business advice) through

                           school visits and public speakers to activities that students

                           and citizens can get involved in.

Other Notes......TEAN was created in 1992 to coordinate environmental-

                          awareness activities. The guide was produced in Spring 1997

                          by interns at the Texas General Land Office. It is unknown

                          whether it has been or will be updated or reissued.
