Field Trips

 

 

Title....................San Antonio Audubon School Programs (Field)

 

Description........Outdoor programs include bird/nature walks at

                           such places as Mitchell Lake or Olmos, Judson,

                           Cibolo Nature Trails. (Classroom programs also

                           available: slide shows and talks on birds,

                           clinics on binocular use and how to birdwatch.)

Audience............Students, K-12.

 

Cost...................Free.

 

Location............As arranged.

 

Dates/Times......As arranged.

 

Special

requirements…..Participants walk a couple of miles at a

                          leisurely pace. No rough terrain. Dress for

                          weather and to avoid scratches and insect bites.

                          Binoculars are almost essential for full benefit

                          of this program. Sponsor can often loan a few

                          binoculars, but ask ahead to be sure.
