Title................................San Antonio Audubon Society Meetings.

 

Description………….......Monthly programs with expert guest speakers on

                                      variety of wildlife and conservation topics, plus

                                      reports on local bird sightings and news about

                                      issues and events of interest to people who care

                                      about wildlife. (Exception: December meeting is a

                                      membership Christmas party with slide shows of

                                      members' outdoor adventures.)

 

Target

Audience.......................Mostly attended by San Antonio Audubon Society

                                      members, but the general public is always welcome at

                                     the monthly program meetings.

 

Cost..............................Free.

 

Location........................Ruble Center (usually front meeting room)

                                     419 E. Magnolia St., San Antonio.

 

Dates/Times.................First Thursdays, 7 p.m.

Other Notes...............San Antonio Audubon is an independent local

                                  conservation and birding club. It offers outings for

                                  birdwatching almost every weekend, including

                                  a monthly beginner's bird walk in Olmos Park and a

                                  monthly walk at the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center

                                  wetlands refuge.
